A Summer of Healing XI
2 Corinthians 12:7-10
V.7 To keep me from becoming conceited…
there was given me a thorn in the flesh…
V.8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord
to take it away from me.
V.9 But he said to me,
“My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
V.10 …I delight in weaknesses, in insults,
in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.
A Summer of Healing –
Note – God does heal
- Christians suffer
1- What does it mean when God does not heal?
2- What do we learn from pain and suffering?
1:4…comforts us in all our troubles, so we can comfort
1:9…this happened that we might not rely on
ourselves, but on God
1:11…as you help us by your prayers. Then many
will give thanks.
3- What do we learn about God’s grace and power?
